Guest Slip/Mooring Request Form (click here)
Prior to arrival, visiting yachtsmen should inquire about availability of berth or mooring space by completing our Guest Slip/Mooring Request Form. Once received by RYC, someone will contact you to confirm your request.
Communication
Upon entering the harbor, please contact the dockhouse for specific instructions. Our Waterfront staff monitors VHF channel 74. Please say “RYC Dock” and identify your vessel on VHF channel 74. Waterways staff will then direct you to a tie up or guide you to a mooring in the launch. After securing your mooring or berth, please check-in at the Dock House.
Dock Space
Boats requiring dock space or mooring must secure clearance from the Waterways manager prior to arrival at the dock.
Launch Service
Launch service is available from May through October. Hours: Check with dockhouse to find out the hours that day. Please hail VHF channel 74 or sound three horn blasts. State of CT rules require that children under age 12 must wear PFDs. Smoking or consuming beverages onboard the launches is prohibited.
Launch Hours in season: Thursday-Saturday 0800-2300 Sunday-Wed 0800-2200
Emergency
Please call the Waterfront staff and 911.
RYC is not responsible for the safety or condition of guests’ boats. All guests shall sign a statement holding the club harmless from any liability arising out of their boat’s presence or use at the club. This statement is part of all space applications and must be signed in order to obtain any space assignments.
