2022 YRA Frostbiting Championship

I hereby agree, as a condition precedent to participation in any race or activity sponsored or undertaken by The Riverside Yacht Club, Inc. or the Riverside Dyer Dinghy Association (including without limitation all activities relating thereto), to release, indemnify, and hold harmless and waive all claims against the Riverside Yacht Club, Inc., the Riverside Dyer Dinghy Association and their respective directors, officers, members, guests, and employees arising out of or in any way connected with my participation in any race or related activity sponsored or undertaken by any of them. This Waiver shall be binding on the participant’s heirs, representatives, successors and assigns.

I understand that frostbiting and its related activities are inherently dangerous and include the risk of serious bodily injury and/or death and I assume any and all risks associated with such participation.

I further agree that the safety of the boat, its equipment and its crew, and the decision whether or not to start or continue a race is solely my responsibility. I have become familiar with the Sailing Instructions and note that personal flotation is absolutely required.
