Privacy Policy

Protecting the privacy and reputation of the Club and its Members is important. Accordingly,

1. Except for Commercial Activities in strict compliance with Section VIII.02, the Club’s name and initials, still or video images of the Clubhouse, Marina and other Club property, and the Club’s logo, burgee and other identifying marks shall not be used by any Member for commercial, charter, advertising, charitable, political or similar purposes, and Members (other than in their official capacity as an Officer) shall not make representations on behalf of the Club without, in each case referred to above, obtaining the prior written permission of the Club Secretary.
2. Membership information is prepared by the Club (e.g., in the Club Directory, Yearbook, Website and similar and derivative materials) only for the private use of Members and may not be shared in any fashion otherwise than within the Membership.
3. Members are expected to exercise good judgment when taking and disseminating still or video images of Club property, Club events and Members and Guests on Club property or at Club events. Special care shall be taken to avoid the dissemination of any such images that might be deemed unbecoming or that might impinge upon the reputation of the Club or any of its Members.
